VR THROW - 10m) The Smart Disk
is thin and ultra light, this internally powered
airborne weapon is crafted of materials which produce the Combi-Stick,
easily slicing through an opponent with it's devastating razor edges.
When
thrown, it will leave your grasp and do severe harm to anything living
in its
flight path. The Elders decree that the concentration needed to retrive
a
combat-standard disk is not present in minds of yuatja, therefore disks
are
not given until proven they can use it wisely.
SHOULDER CANNON (HVY +2 N R 7d6
AP 10 3 VR 400m) The Shoulder
Cannon, the most powerful aid in a
yuatja's quest. This shoulder mounted and light weight weapon is
capable
of firing multiple long range energy bursts. The destructive power
unleashed
by these bursts will deal damage to anything near the intended target,
including the warrior foolish enough or brave enough to use the
Shoulder
Cannon in close quarters.
NET (HVY +1 P R Special 1 1 VR 75m) Fired from the Hunter's Bracers....a net is launched at the target and pins it to a surface. If the subject resists against the net, the net, tightens itself as if alive. If the subject cuases it to contract enough, the net does damage equal to monowire. To escape the net requires a difficult dodge roll. To break out of the net is NEARLY IMPOSSIBLE, and failure causes contraction of the net.
WRIST CLAWS (M - P R 3d6 AP - -
VR 1m) My Favourite. The Wrist-Blade
is the weapon chosen for
most yautja. Twin blades, double edged, and sharp enough to tear
through
bone, these retractable blades are effective against large and small
opponents. Using it shows the yuatja (the young) pride, becuase they
must
fight face-to-face.
ARMOR(SP 25 FULL BODY but special cases) This armor plating covers and EXTREMELY small part of the Hunter's body. Only 25% of the shots taken at a Hunter will actually strike armor. However, the Hunter is quite adept at limiting it's exposed areas. The armor is held in place by a net like stapping system.
CAMOUFLAGE SYSTEM This suit is very similar to the Militech M95 Ghost suit from CP2020 but is far superior, as the wearer becomes virtually invisible when the system is activated. The system is very hard to detect, but a slight blur can be seen when the wearer is in motion. As long as the wearer stays still they are virtually impossible to detect. While normally detectable by certain heat imaging optics some suits can be made which reduce IR signature. This system offers a -6 against visual awareness when standing still and -5 when moving.
MEDKIT Standardizeed First Aid kit for a Hunter. There are two versions of this package. The first is so small, that it is actually stored in the shoulder pad of the Hunter's armor. The second is a self deploying case stored on the Hunter's back.
HELMET (SP 30) This is an intricate system, along with the basic head protection it provides. The helmet supplies a coolant, which makes the Hunter's vision much clearer. Without the helmet, the Hunter suffers from severe penalties to visual awareness. Along with supplying coolant, there is a built in Voice Analyser and synthesiser. This voice synthesiser analysises the wave for for a given sound byte. From this the Hunter can learn the word / phrase until it can speak it without the helmet. Also, the helmet can modulate the recorded byte, and play it back. The helmet will also reveal the presence of hidden Hunter crafts.
WRIST COMP W/ DETONATOR - Both these units are built into
the bracer opposite the one containing the WRIST BLADES( which would
make
it the computer on the right arm) This computer allows the visual
range of the Hunter to change modes. Available modes include:
Thermo,
IR, and UV. (NOTE: The switch of modes can be seen in PREDATOR
2)
The Detonator is the final measure of a trapped and doomed
Hunter.
It is a Kamakazi act. When the Hunter has realized that defeat is
inevitable, it will activate this device, rather than live with the
shame
of losing to it's prey. The Blast Radius of this device is about
12 city blocks(best referr to the movie or comics for an EXACT
radius).
The Damage delivered by this device is extremely high, needless to say,
the device EASILY vaporizes anything within the blast area. Tread
carefully.
I recommend seeing both movies:
PREDATOR and PREDATOR 2 before using
this against your players. Also, this is in NO WAY meant to be
used
as a PC role. To do so would SEVERELY imbalance the power
equality
and struggle in almost any given campaign.
