|
Descent Guidance Fins
(DGFs): Mounted on
the shoulders, and abandoned immediately after landing, the fins allow
for a well controlled fall from any altittude which ranges anywhere
between
12,000 meters and as low as 450 meters. The fins also contain
countermeasures
within, including Chaff and Flares (full loads). When abandoned,
the fins self-destruct automatically in 5 minutes. (Doesn't take
up any spaces, so Infanty Loaders can still mount weapons on their
deltoids/shoulders)
Shields:
Mounted on the arm and hand, it
provides considerable protection to the bearer - when attacked from the
mounted side or front. The shield is hit 65% of the time and
provides
an extra 20 SP and can take 40 points before it is useless. If a
significant amount of punishment strikes the shield (doesn't have to
damage
it) in a single turn or round, th pilot must roll a successful piloting
check, or be thrown to the ground. (Takes up an arm, can still
mount
a shoulder weapon, but a hand weapon is not allowed on the same arm as
the shield).
Mecha Tech (3): This skill deals with the construction and repair of mechas. This skill can be used to repair PAs as well. However, like the Mecha Sense skill, the skill half the value rounded down.
Expert: Mecha Design: With this skill, a person can design the mechanics necessary to create the complex mechas. However, a computer with some form of CADs is required to do intricate detail. Without it, the person can come up with a overall format.
POWER
DoLLS Uniform:
This is the standard regulation uniform. It consists of a white
skirt for the ladies and very airy and comfortable synth-cotton slacks,
also white. The Upper body is the same for both men and women,
offset,
overlapping flaps of the jacket with a broadbelt around the
waist.
The coloring, and representations on the buckle indicate rank and
unit.
MP's trade this in for a standard field uniform (similar to 20th
century
US army uniforms) and carry a standard 10mm autopistol with two
reloads.
