The POWER DoLLS is an elite female task force (in the ANIME at least). Adapting 2-story tall power loaders, originally used for the loading and unloading of warships and spacecraft, to man-like walking battle tanks, these lumbering war machines stalk the free fire zones in currently limited numbers. But what is lost in numbers is made up for by the skill of the pilots. With gatling guns loaded and missiles armed, these metal humans drop from 10,000 meters above the battlefield below. Eager trigger fingers and watchful eye prepare as the metallic forms slowly glide down the star filled sky. Then a surprising light flashes and missiles seem to swarm on the loaders like hundreds of angry bees. Now they are committed...
Information
on the Loaders:
The loaders are currently few in number,
as they require massive amounts of resources and capital to build and
maintain.
Currently(at least in the ANIME) there are about 30 loaders which are
combat
ready. Loaders all stand about the height of two or three
building
stories. (For those keeping track, they are still much shorter
than
BattleMechs, but are about equal in size to Gears). Loaders do
not
go by the same arming rules as other vehicles or ACPAs do. There
are ONLY a maximum of 4 hardpoint for weapon mounting. These
include,
the 'Deltoid' and hand of each arm. Due to the structure of the
loader,
weight, and makeshift combat-conversions that are performed to turn
loaders
into combat ready units, these are the only possible places for
mounting
weapons. Loaders have a great deal in common, but are broken into
3 main categories based on different mountings, armoring, and
electronic
systems. The three categories are: Reconnaissance, Infantry, and
Assault.
Reconnaissance
Loaders:
Though lighter in armor, Reconnaissance
loaders have the most sophisticated and highest grade sensors of all
the
classes of loaders. This, combined with higher speeds and an
artillery
computer, they are frequently used as artillery spotters and
scouts.
A single loader, if piloted well enough and using maximum cover
availability
will frequently be able to observe the enemy for a long time without
being
tagged. Not meant for front line combat duty, the Reconnaissance
loader is better suited to observation and sneak attacks on lightly
armed/armored
and guarded rear areas.

Infantry
Loaders:
The standard combat converted loader.
Able to withstand 20 mm autocannon fire and weighing in at fifteen
tons,
this loader is a force to be reckoned with. Though not meant for
all out, stand up fighting, it can hold its own against most medium
armored
units. Out of the three it is the only one that can mount
shoulder
weapons. For this reason it is frequently used as a field support
unit, firing indirectly at distant targets. When used in a group,
there are few units capable of withstanding the barrage which can be
set
down by the groups numerous armaments. A common tactic is for
each
unit to mount different arrangements of weapons.

Assault
Loaders:
The heaviest armored type in the field.
Able to withstand everything up to a 1 cm gauss cannon, this is the
most
fearsome thing to be seen in the field since the atom bomb.
Weighing
in at 20 tons this unit is limited only by its speed (top speed:
65mph).
Able to carry two extremely powerful weapons in its hands, there are
few
who would not be cautious when one makes its appearance. One
alone
carries enough firepower to take out a a squadron of aircraft, a few
tanks,
and if the shots were placed well enough, to sink a small naval
ship.
When seen in number, surrender is frequently the best course of action.

It is rumored that the armed forces has more versions on the drawing board and at least half a dozen are being put through their paces now.
